First off, I have to say that I have the best life! I live in an amazing town where everybody knows each other and looks out for each other. My kids go to a school where they know every child in their class and most of their brothers and sisters; it is a great place to live!

I am also blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to five great kids. Courtney is a senior in high school, Ryan is in grade ten, Mitch is in grade six, Jamie is in grade two, and my little buddy Madi, who is three, is home with me. It seems like my calendar can’t fit much more on it, but even in the chaos, we have a lot of fun around here.

Over seven years ago my cousin came to me and proposed an idea of a scrapbook store. I started to teach classes for her and that evolved into my favorite creative outlet, Beary Patch. This comes back to the great life I have, I get to do what I love, stay at home with my kids, and even get paid! I love to draw and paint and spend most of my day in a great office space my husband designed especially for me. I have such a great supportive family, and parents that have always encouraged anything I’ve tried to do.

If I can convey anything about myself in a few short paragraphs, I would hope people know that I’m thankful and so grateful for my family and friends, and for having the opportunity to do what I love to do everyday.
